Palm Beach International Raceway and MTW Promotions are hosting Sled Truck Pulls this Saturday, July 24.
Sled truck pulls is a competition where trucks pull a heavy sled along a track. There will be eight different classes running – ranging from 5,550lb. small block stock to 8,000lb propane or NOS class. There’s also a street stock class, a true “run what you brung” group.

Palm Beach International Raceway is excited to announce that SPEED TV will be back at PBIR’s quarter-mile all-concrete drag strip in August to film episodes of the popular show Pass Time. Pass Time will begin filming on August 19 and 20.

Palm Beach International Raceway and MRP Motorsport recently hosted the Palm Beach County Concierge Association for a night of teambuilding.
More than 50 concierge association members filled the MRP Motorsport karting center before branching out to experience what Palm Beach International Raceway has to offer – including rides around the 2-mile, 11-turn road course and the quarter-mile all concrete drag strip.

Time change for SSS points races |

Palm Beach International Raceway officials have moved the start of all IHRA Summit Super Series points races. Beginning July 10, the gates will now open at 4 p.m. and time runs are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and eliminations will start at 7 p.m.

In March of this year, the SPEED TV crew packed into Palm Beach International Raceway to set up for their first taping of the 2010 season for PINKS: All Out, hosted by Rich Christensen. All of the drama captured during taping at Palm Beach International Raceway will unfold on air on tonight at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.
PBIR’s quarter-mile, all concrete drag strip was chosen as the first venue on the 13-event season. The show visits some of the largest and most prestigious venues in the country, including Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill. and zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, N.C. The show was at the track in 2007, before the facility underwent renovations.

The pavilion at the road course at Palm Beach International Raceway is currently undergoing a few improvements – including a member locker room for the Palm Beach Driving Club and a private lounge area.
The entire tent was taken down, cleaned and will be put back up this week. A new floor will be put in, along with new lighting and walls. The new and improved tent will also feature a business/ track telemetry center.

"Night of Fire" Canceled! |

Palm Beach International Raceway was forced to cancel an exciting evening of drag racing and fireworks. Unfortunately, rainy weather at the track and throughout the area caused PBIR officials to cancel the event.
The race will be rescheduled for a later date that has not been set yet. All racer entries and spectators will be able to use their tickets purchased for this event at the rescheduled event later this summer.

Palm Beach International Raceway is bringing HOT ROD SUNDAY back! On Sunday, August 15 PBIR is hosting a car and truck show, drag racing gambler’s race and a swap meet, just like the old days. The Classic Car and Truck Show is hosted by South East Rod and Customs and will be filled with a variety of classic cars and trucks, which will have the opportunity to take a pass on the fastest quarter-mile drag strip in South Florida! Palm Beach International Raceway is hosting one of its biggest summer events, “Night of Fire”, this Saturday, July 3. “Night of Fire” will offer entertainment for the entire family – including drag racing, a fireworks show and a kid’s zone.
Palm Beach International Raceway has set up a spectacular night of racing including appearances by two jet cars – Glory Days and Black Ice and runs by some of the fastest Pro Mods around.
