Palm Beach International Raceway and MRP Motorsport recently hosted the Palm Beach County Concierge Association for a night of teambuilding.

More than 50 concierge association members filled the MRP Motorsport karting center before branching out to experience what Palm Beach International Raceway has to offer – including rides around the 2-mile, 11-turn road course and the quarter-mile all concrete drag strip.

The pavilion at the road course at Palm Beach International Raceway is currently undergoing a few improvements – including a member locker room for the Palm Beach Driving Club and a private lounge area.

The entire tent was taken down, cleaned and will be put back up this week. A new floor will be put in, along with new lighting and walls. The new and improved tent will also feature a business/ track telemetry center.

Palm Beach International Raceway and MTW Promotions partnered together to give a lucky winner a ride in “Shark Attack” (pictured left) during the side-by-side mud bog on Saturday, June 19.

The mud bog was a huge hit as the parking lots were filled and more than 2,000 spectators packed the stands to see more than 100 jeeps, trucks and buggies fight their way through a mud-filled 300-ft. pit.

Palm Beach International Raceway is pleased to announce a new partnership with PGA National Resort & Spa. PGA National is now the exclusive resort of PBIR and the Palm Beach Driving Club, a private member club for automotive enthusiasts.

Jason Rittenberry, president and CEO of Palm Beach International Raceway and the Palm Beach Driving Club is representing the facility the next two days at the Florida Facility Managers Association (FFMA) conference at the Four Seasons resort in Palm Beach, Fla.

“I enjoy attending conferences like the FFMA,” said Rittenberry. “Not only is it great place to network and build new partnerships, but it’s very interesting to hear different perspectives on facility management. I’m able to bring new ideas back to PBIR after conferences like FFMA and it is beneficial for us.”

The best side-by-side mud bog action in south Florida returns to Palm Beach International Raceway today, June 19, when MTW Promotions brings exciting mud bog action back to PBIR.

Jeeps, mud trucks and SUV’s are invited to Palm Beach International Raceway’s mud bog area to test their guts and their trucks in the 300-ft mud pit. The mud bog area was redone in March and the last event showed great success.

Palm Beach Driving Club Race Pro Shane Lewis returned to the United States with another international victory to his name.  Lewis competed in the prestigious 24 Hours of Nürburgring, driving for Götz Motorsports with his former 6 hour race winning teammate Vic Rice and German Champion drivers Axel Duffner and Karl Planz in the all new No. 70 Audi RS-4 twin Turbo V-8. The team earned 1^st in class and 23^rd overall out of a total of 220 cars starting on the grid.

Palm Beach International Raceway is home to Radical East USA, a sports-racing car manufacturer. Radical Sportscars hit a major milestone last week as the 1,000th car was completed.

The headquarters for Radical East USA are located next to PBIR's main office. The Palm Beach Driving Club uses a Radical SR3 during club nights.
